Chambretto GT

Tannenhof's Chambretto GT was the all-outshining Champion Stallion of the 2012' Southern German licensing.

He is a first-class all-rounder with an excellent conformation combined with highly sporting attributes. Three basic gaits for the highest demands and jumping quality of exceptional quality concerning technique, jumping-manner and scope predestine this stallion as absolute double talent.

Purely Holstein bred, Tannenhof's Chambretto GT underlines the often successful maxim of stud Tannenhof to support versatilely the Holstein genes and present them in a sporting way.

The sire, Concetto Famos, was approved for breeding over own successes in the international show jumping. Under the saddle of Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, he won several advanced level show jumpings, was placed up front in Grand Prixs and World Cups as well as in the German Show Jumping Derby. Although not frequently used for breeding, he presented continually top-class horses. Already in 2010, he was sire of Cortoni (State Stud Moritzburg), who was celebrated champion at the Southern German licensing. The dam, Cosma Schiwa, was State Champion in Baden-Württemberg and winning in elementary level tests for young dressage horses and successful in medium level tests for young show jumpers. The dam's sire, Chambertin, who had his successful debut as sire in Holstein, was used in breeding in Baden-Württemberg from 2004 to 2009. In this time he became one of to the most demanded German sires. In 1998 and 1999, he was winner of the final qualifiers under Jörg Naeve at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf and took the title of the Holsteiner State Champion in 1999. Chambertin produced 13 licensed sons, including also the double Bundeschampionat finalist Chalan and the internationally successful Mecklenburg stallion Chacco-Blue.

The dam, Gia, was herself versatilely successful in sport and delivered numerous successful offspring. In third generation you find the in many ways significant stallion performance test winner Alcatraz, who was a multi-talented sire of the best quality in the Holstein breeding. The FN's estimated breeding value statistics positioned him for years among the best concerning his versatile inheritance proven by his numerous internationally successful offspring in both dressage and show jumping. This equally applies to Calypso I, found in fourth generation: He is just like Alcatraz a guarantee for maximum potential in the basic gaits and has made a name for himself as highly esteemed dual purpose sire. In the following generation are strongly moving performance sires, respectively refinement sires, named Flamingo, Sherry Netherland xx and again Farnese. Noteworthy is the four-time connection to the line-founding stallions Cor de la Bryère. The Holstein line 2122 produced among others the licensed stallions Kabarett (USA), Leonid (Holsteiner Verband, DK, State Stud Radegast) and Let's Go (BEL), but this dam line is also represented by the internationally successful show jumpers Caya/Sheila Burke and Romeos Child/Takashi Haase.
