He was one of the most striking stallions at the 2009 Hanoverian licensing: Tannenhof's Fahrenheit stands out because of the enormous harmony of his body and also his charm. His elastic and ground covering trot is in perfect rhythm, his walk also meets the highest requirements and his canter is just as elastic with long uphill strides.
His sire, Fidertanz, began his exceptional career in 2004 when he won the main NRW licensing in Handorf. In 2005, Fidertanz left the 30-day test in Neustadt/Dosse as the winner, taking home very high scores and then became Vice Bundeschampion where he was given a 9.5 by the guest rider. In 2006 he won tests for young dressage horses. His first crops were sensational and brought fabulous prices at all of the Verband auctions. As a result, he received the I-a main premium in the lot of stallions with emphasis on dressage at the 2006 Oldenburg licensing in Vechta. Fidertanz won a qualifier for the 2007 Bundeschampionat with a score of 8.8 and has meanwhile been trained up to advanced (S) level.
His dam, Daylight Dance, is by the black stallion, De Niro. He was awarded the I-a main premium in Oldenburg in 1997. More than 60 of his sons were licensed and over 100 daughters have received a State Premium since then. De Niro, who has sired numerous horses that have participated in the Bundeschampionat as well as high priced auction horses, also has a good number of Grand Prix victories on record under his trainer and master rider, Dolf-Dietram Keller, including victory twice in the German Championships for Professional Riders and victory in the German Dressage Derby. In 2008 he received the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year award.
In the third generation you find the Thoroughbred stallion, Noble Roi xx, who was one of the most successful Thoroughbred sires in German Warmblood breeding in his day. His progeny collected ribbons in all disciplines, above all his licensed son, Noble Champion, who successfully competed in international show jumping competitions with Hauke Luther but he also sired many dressage horses that reached advanced (S) level.
With the multiple advanced (S) level winning show jumper, Steppentraum, in the fourth generation, another black stallion is found in the pedigree.
The great granddam, Gritti, is the dam of the internationally successful dressage horse, Brillant/Beatriz Ferrer-Salad (ESP). Fahrenheit represents the Oldenburg dam line of Grittena (by Grunold-Geber-Eboli-Essex-Junior) which is becoming increasingly popular. This line is the origin of stallions such as Avellynus, Aventyno, Der Oldenburger, Landjonker, Leander, Pionier (internationally successful with Tjark Nagel), Rolex TP (SWE), Sir Sunshine, Sir Willson (Körsieger), Vital, Wardenburger and World Maximum, as well as the internationally successful show jumper, Casanova Junior (by Carnando-Landadel) ridden by Tim Hoster as well as Markus Renzel.
